What
You Will Need:
-1 gallon freezer bag
-Handful of spinach (or any type of greens mix you’d like –
I also know that arugula would go well with this!)
-2 hard boiled eggs
-2 pieces of cooked (in the oven) turkey bacon
-1 cucumber
-A few crumbled pieces of mozzarella cheese
-Half a cooked chicken breast (cooked and seasoned any way
you’d like – I cooked mine in the oven and use a Mrs. Dash seasoning, the night
befo
-A few mushrooms (I prefer baby bellas)
-Finely chopped pieces of red onions
-Juice from 1 lemon
-Sharp knife
-Cutting board
(I opted out of using tomatoes because I cannot have them due to my stomach issues and I am not a fan of avocados. But feel free to keep tomatoes and avocados in!)
Classic
Cobb Salad:
Rinse the spinach, mushrooms, cucumber (cut into bite sized
pieces) and onions (finely chopped) off and place into freezer bag.
Peel and cut up boiled eggs into bite sized pieces and place into
freezer bag. Take the yolk out of one and leave the yolk in one
Cut up half of chicken breast and then crumble mozzarella
cheese and put chicken and cheese into freezer bag.
Squeeze juice of 1 lemon into salad mixture in freezer bag.
Shake mixture around in freezer bag and place in fridge
overnight.
*Lunch time the next day, you can eat out of bag or place
on plate or bowl. As for the dressing I
have my favorite – Cucumber Ranch. But oil & vinegar would be excellent on
this as well! But feel free to use your favorite type of dressing.
Enjoy!!
