
I also used to make "smoothies" at home and I still found myself adding sugar and those nasty additives.
Solution -- Shakeology! I love it! It's a great breakfast option to jump start your day or a great pick me up in the middle of the day.
It comes in many yummy flavors (Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and even Greenberry). Strawberry is my favorite. With this yummy and delicious solution you already have the majority of what is supposed to be in a smoothie to make it healthy. You can add other items (healthy!) to jazz it up but Shakeology itself already has you 90% set. I am going to share my simple, quick and healthy Strawberry Shakeology recipe.
-1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology or 1 full sample packet (pictured)
-1 cup unsweetened plain Almond milk (I use Silk -- Vanilla or sweetened would work too)
-A pinch of cinnamon
-A drizzle of honey
-A few ice cubes (careful! I've made mine "too chunky" because I put too much ice in it)
Put all ingredients together and blend away. My NutriBullet is perfect for this. Pour into a Blender Bottle or regular cup and enjoy!!
